This is where I share eight of my favorite moments, experiences, quotes or anything else from the previous month. There were so many by the end of the month, but I'm glad I ended up with these eight. (They're not really in any particular order.)

7. I made a run to the nearest Dollar Tree to satisfy my occasional craving for Twizzlers and the checkout woman said to me, "Thank you. Have a beautiful evening." It was so simple, but I never hear employees say that and it just made me feel happy.

6. Opened the show Hairspray at my old high school. Spotlight operating again!

5. I started watching Downton Abbey. Made me love Dan Stevens even more!

4. FaceTimed with a dear friend, who's more like a sister to me. I haven't seen her in nearly a year since she left for graduate school, so it was a joy to hear her voice (and laugh) again.

3. Petrichor - (n.) the smell of earth after rain

2. Saw the Live-Action Beauty and the Beast film. (See my REVIEW for my thoughts on it.)

1. I officially wrapped up Assistant Stage Managing my first theatre production, Anton Chekov's The Seagull. I have enjoyed both the acting and technical side of theatre, but it was through this experience that my passion for the art was truly cemented.
