This is where I share eight of my favorite moments, experiences, quotes or anything else from the previous month. (They're not really in any particular order.)
8. I bought my first pair of Nikes to work out in and for a money saver like me, the price just about gave me a heart attack...But they are really nice shoes. In relation to that, I started working out with my younger sister. She was kind enough to buy me a month's membership to her gym and I really enjoy going out with her.
7. Got my hair CUT. Short. This is a huge deal. I've had my long hair forever as in, I literally can't remember the last time it was been deemed "short." Now it's between my chin and shoulders! Hurray for changes! (See my post "Hairy Changes" for pictures!)
6. I went to West Virginia (for the first time) with my family for the baptism of my cousin's baby boy! It was nice to spend time with my sisters and parents and was also great to see relatives that I don't get see but every so many years.
5. Saw the musical Chicago for the first time. And Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. (Reviews to come!)
4. Went mini golfing with the fam and my little sister's super sweet college friend.
3. Announced my book. (There is a blog post about it.) I could've kept quiet on this project for years, but I'm glad a good time came for me to be able to introduce it publicly.
UPDATE: This morning at 1:08am, I finished my book! Get ready publishers!
2. I turned twenty-two! For my birthday, I took one of my friends out to celebrate her recent twenty-first birthday and we had a fabulous time.
1. The first time I graduated college, I was Heidi, a character in the play Months On End. But earlier this May, I actually did graduate and got my theatre degree!
