I've been wanting to spruce-up my art stool and now I've actually gotten up and done it!

I started off by spray painting my stool using Krylon Glitter Blast Silver Flash. The entire 5.75 oz. can could hardly cover it decently so I pulled out my regular Krylon Metallic Silver spray paint to cover the top a bit better.

The bottom came out looking a bit patchy, but the top is essentially the eye-catcher. After the spray paint, I used some Martha Stewart Glitter Acrylic paint all over and the second time mixed it with Mod Podge. I finished by covering the entire chair with a coat of Mod Podge to seal in the glitter as much as possible.

Overall, I'm happy with the finished product. It's still functional and it looks super neat!

P.S. I am not the best at spraying paint evenly, but this stool is just for me to sit on at my art desk, so I didn't go all perfectionist on it.

As a bonus, here are pictures of a cork board I just made as well! All the pictures I've seen of cork board projects have them fitted into a frame to keep them together, but I decided to glue them into a pattern instead. I also kept the size relatively small and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out as I was able to cram all of my little paper clippings onto it!

Happy Crafting!
