Salty (Day 1)

It should be a given whenever starting a fast, that you'll need to drink a ton of water. Ton as in literally a ton. There is never a moment when I didn't feel as if I could drink water. But something new in my arsenal that I didn't have last time was pink himalayan sea salt. 1/8th of a teaspoon didn't taste good to me. it just gave the water a weird flavor, but I didn't feel the slight hunger I was experiencing before.

I think it helped quite a bit and in general, I had an easy day running on ketones and staying busy, but after I went outside to see the solar eclipse, I got a headache. I drank water until it was time for me to go home from work, then drank some healthy salt water.

When it didn't feel like it was helping and where I had felt cold earlier during the day, my face felt hot. So I lied down and shut my eyes for about 15 minutes; That seemed to help with the exhaustion of having woken up at 5:30am. My stomach was rumbling afterwards so I opted for drinking more water then taking my ketones around 6pm. I definitely plan on getting to bed super early tonight! Day One down!
