This is where I share eight of my favorite moments, experiences, quotes or anything else from the previous month. (They're not really in any particular order.)

8. I was made the Official Assistant Stage Manager for Jesus Christ Superstar!
7. "People seldom notice old clothes if you wear a big smile." ~Lee Mildon
The reason I chose this quote is because I'm really cleaning out my possessions, keeping only what I find brings me true joy and wearing clothes that are multi-purposeful, but still in touch with my personal style. Although it can be difficult, letting go of physical belongings, every once in a while is very liberating.
6. I'm sending a care package to my friend who's going to school in London.
I stopped by Walmart to get the last item on my list for her. But when I tried to pay, my card didn't work. I tried several times and eventually gave up, reminding myself to carry cash next time. As I walked out of the sliding doors, I heard, "Hey girl!" I looked behind me, but didn't think much of it and kept walking. Then I heard it again and turned around to see the next lady in line waving me back; She paid for my items. When I left, I felt extremely touched that there is still some goodness out there and thankful that God decided to bless me when He did.
5. "What is coming is better than what is gone." ~Arabic Proverb
It does no good to dwell on anything in the past. Arguments, relationships gone sour, and so on. In my present, right now, I have no time to think about the past; I've really been working toward and praying for my future. Speaking of which...

4. "If you can't stop thinking about it, don't stop working on it." ~Michael Jordan
Theatre is a true passion of mine and I look forward to it every second I participate in a production. Even if it's sweeping the floor before everyone arrives, I know I'm a part of a process that seeks to present art in a unique, storytelling way. It brings me joy every time which is why I'll work my hardest to stay a part of the magic it brings and the escape that it offers to it's spectators.
3. I went to a friend's wedding, followed by an evening performance, then going out with another friend, sister, and her boyfriend, and ending the night with stargazing, and cat-sitting my neighbor's kitten. Quite an eventful Saturday!
2.

1. I had a spectacular time one evening with a childhood friend. She came over and shopped in a little boutique I created of all the tons of clothes and items that I'm getting rid of. I sold each item for anything from 5 cent up to 40 so it's basically a steal for whatever you pick out. Such a fun time at the Nickels and Dimes Shoppe!
