Whether they be quotes, pictures, experiences, ideas, or lessons learned,
here are my top most memorable moments from the month!
Moments of the Month
8. Went on my first Treasure Hunt, which, when put briefly, is where a group of us prays for clues to find people we feel God is telling us to talk to or might need prayer. Then we go out and use those clues we received to do just that. It was quite an amazing, enlightening experience.
7. My younger sister and I went to more shops for coffee! And if you'd like to know, here is a list of the places we checked out! Pour Favor, Fruitive, Lynnhaven Coffee Co., Taste Unlimited, Bada** Coffee, Bergey's Breadbasket (which was my absolute favorite because there was a petting zoo!), Borjo's Coffeehouse, The Green Cat, Java Surf Cafe, Gather Cafe, Roast Rider + Coffee and Tea, and finally (our first one outside of Virginia) Atmology! in Tennessee.
6. I left my job in VA a couple weeks early to leave for training with my sister for our new job in Tennessee! I got to/said bye to a lot of people before I left too.
5. I watched my dearest MFA's graduate from Regent University. They all performed wonderfully and I am so proud of them.
4. We celebrated my birthday (sort of) on Mother's Day. So it was kind of a shared day between my Mom and I.
3. On the way over to Tennessee, my little sister surprised me with a gift every time we stopped, each time more surprising than the last. It was really cute and sweet of her.
2. Romans 8:26 "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."
1. I passed my lifeguarding exams and water skills test! I'm a lifeguard! And I got the opportunity to do just that for the first time on the 30th!
A Note to My Readers
There is SO much more to the month of May that I want to share, but again, my access to any electronics is extremely limited and I have noticed how much more difficult that will be once training is over and the job actually starts. That being said, I think I would like to share more in depth about my summer once it's over in August. I'm getting so many ideas for my blog here and I can't wait to share them, but while God works on me this summer, I must keep myself free of distractions to allow that. So (for now) until the job here is done, I will say, so long. Thank you for reading!
