Whether they be quotes, pictures, experiences, ideas, or lessons learned,

here are my top most memorable moments from the month!

For this post however, I'm adding moments from the months I missed: June and July! Enjoy!

Moments of the MonthS!

June

9. I tried out for praise band at camp and made it! I even got to lead a couple of songs (one being the song "Heart of Worship"). I never sang again beyond the first week, but it was pretty cool nonetheless.

8. During my first week of overnight camp, I ran the Improvisation track! Tracks are activities that overnight campers get to do for an hour every day. They pick one at the beginning of the week and the counselors teach them. It was such a blast!

7. I saw "The Incredibles 2" and "Deadpool 2," went mini golfing with some of my camp co-workers, and had an awesome time teaching myself/practicing archery and writing songs in my free time.

July

6. I performed my first rescue as a lifeguard. The girl wasn't in immediate danger, but my help was needed.

5. One of my lifeguard buddies and I went canoeing on the lake and he purposely ran the front of the boat, where I was sitting, into some bushes and shrubbery, twice. It was kinda hilarious. Another week, with the two guys I was lifeguarding, we filmed a short "choreographed" noodle fight on our break time. Super entertaining time then, to say the least. Check it out HERE!

4. My second week doing overnight camp turned out to be my most amazing week at Deer Run. Besides the daily activities, my co, Twain and I got to witness to 11 young preteens, our cabin won the "Mrs." title of the famed weekly talent show Mr. and Mrs. Deer Run with an original rap and beatbox performance, and three of the girls in our cabin got baptized that weekend. That was probably the most fulfilling week I had out of the whole summer.

August

3. After 6 months without, I finally got a laptop! Welcome back blogging and editing YouTube videos!

2. I got to hang out with friends and family and do some fun stuff this month! Activities included visiting my former boss' food truck, Hangry's, with my family; touring the aviation school my older sister would be attending, successfully completing an escape room with the kids I babysit, treasure hunting, seeing Tim Hawkins live for the second time, joining my community's praise team, exploring downtown Norfolk and going to a Tides baseball game with a couple childhood friends, and learning new games such as Rummy and Code Names.

1. Both during my summer job and after it was finished, I went traveling around Tennessee with my younger sister, Sarita. We explored Franklin, Nashville, Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain (Georgia), Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. (Videos of my trip to come on my YouTube Channel!)
