Searching for healthy Halloween themed recipes is increasingly difficult online search. However, I managed to find an incredibly easy one right here! Seeing as these deviled eggs are a little different from what I'm used to (my Ma's), I was skeptical of the strange mix of ingredients while simultaneously excited to see if the combination would actually work.

Ingredients

> 6 hard-boiled eggs, halved

> 3 tbsp mayonnaise

> 1 tsp Dijon mustard

> 1 tsp vinegar (I used white)

> 1/8 tsp salt

> 1/8 tsp pepper

> whole black olives

While my eggs were boiling, I made the filling mix and was confused until I remembered the yellow color comes from the egg yolk. But I prepared that part of the ingredients first and set it aside.

Something else I thought of after the fact is that it might be a good idea to make a few extra eggs should some of them crack or not turn out as nicely as you wanted them to. (Or if you're like me, should you want to eat one; I like freshly boiled eggs.)

I did spiders on about half of them and despite the fact that they look like creepy crawlies (which is kinda the point) they didn't taste bad! My Mom would absolutely not eat any of the spider ones, but she and my older sister loved them! My Mom said they were even better than hers. (I didn't think so, but I am biased.)

I could definitely recommend these for an easy halloween appetizer, should your guests be brave enough to eat them. Or even yourself for that matter!
