Whether they be quotes, pictures, experiences, ideas, or lessons learned,
here are my top most memorable moments from the month!
Moments of the Month
8. Among many other various films, I watched all of the James Bond and Mission Impossible movie series. And for our *"R" movie, my older sister and I watched Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window," starring James Stewart.
7. I went to the Book Exchange to trade in a bunch of my books and movies and was able to get, along with quite a bit of store money credit, Tim Ferris' book "The 4-Hour Workweek."
6. I ate lunch with my older sister from a food truck that visits her school every Thursday. And let me tell you, that was some tasty food!
5. I started working with Virginia Stage Company's show "Our Town"! I remember reading this play in eighth grade so I thought it was so neat that I was able to get involved with this show.

4. I connected with (meaning, I talked to) a lot of friends through Facebook and Instagram this month, which is quite a feat for a serious introvert like me. I made it a sort of personal challenge to start reaching out to people I know and I actually enjoyed having that interaction with those folks!
3. I helped move costumes around at the Wells theatre. A team of us moved tons of clothes from one room to another for 5 1/2 hours and it was a good lot of exercise, but I had fun.
2. My younger sister came home for Fall Break! Because I was in tech week, I only got to hang out with her for a few hours on a Saturday morning, but we went jogging for a few miles on the beach boardwalk then had post-run smoothie bowls at The Green Cat Cafe.
Another great person I got to hang out with this month was my friend Angelica. We had a lot of meaningful conversation and I am always appreciative of how often we find new things to talk about and discuss.
1. After posting my 30 Days Running Challenge video, a few folks came out of the woodwork asking to do collabs with me! That was pretty exciting; So keep your eyes peeled for new videos in the coming months! I've got a lot of new video ideas milling about in my brain and I would like to consistently post once a month.
Bonus: I started teaching myself some new songs on the guitar, one of which I'm planning using for my end-of-the-year YouTube cover.
From Day 30 of my Self-Care Challenge, here's an update on some of my short-term goals.
> Read Tim Ferriss' "The 4-Hour Workweek" by the end of October.
(completed 10/26/18)
> Post a YouTube video cover or original song by the end of the year 2018.
> See The Lion King on Broadway before my next Birthday in May!
*My older sister, Gloria and I are watching new movies; Each one starts with the next letter of the alphabet and we switch off picking the movies. We're on the "S" movie now and once we get to "Z," we're planning on going backwards from Z to A and flip-flopping who picks which letter. (Gloria picked the "A" movie when we first started so this time I would pick it.)
