Whether they be quotes, pictures, experiences, ideas, or lessons learned,

here are my top most memorable moments from the month!

Moments of the Month

8. Watched the student-staff/faculty basketball game at my job. The freshmen did great, but the teachers won in the end.

7. Watched Part 2 of Shane Dawson's Conspiracy series. Honestly, the best work he's done yet.

6. I got to hang out with some kids I used to babysit, which sounds weird, but I hadn't seen them in almost a full year and it always brings me such joy to hang out with kids and see how much they've grown.

5. Speaking of people I'm hanging out with, I've been seeing my friend Nyoka a lot lately. She's hung out with my family a couple times this month, I saw her in her show "Dear Brutus" at Regent University, and she is just such a fun person to be around.

4. Went to the TobyMac concert with my Mom and two sisters!

"The Elements"

3. I caught up with an my old Stage Manager buddy and traveling, Tai! (Read my interview with her here!) I hadn't seen her in nearly two years since our trip to Florida so it was really great to see how she was doing.

2. One of my favorite moments this month had to be when just after our Sunday morning brunch, my older sister and I started jamming out to VeggieTales. It was so fun reminiscing our childhood for a while! I also went shoe hunting with her at several places that day.

1. Through an event at my job, I met Holocaust survivor, Dana Cohen. I was helping her test out her microphone before the event and I remember at one point looking into her eyes and just seeing everything. I don't know how to describe it, but we made eye contact and I stared for a moment and just...saw. It was a moment I will never forget. Read about more the survivors HERE.

Bonus: I recorded and posted an original song on my YouTube channel this month (all done in one day I might add on Valentine's Day). It's called "Road Less Traveled" and even though I don't particularly enjoy the sound of my voice, this was me fulfilling a personal challenge for this year and that is one of the reasons I use my channel for: stepping out of my comfort zone.
