As always, in no particular order, whether they be quotes, pictures, experiences, ideas, or lessons learned, here are my top most memorable moments of the month!

Moments of the Month

8. A lot of different groups rent out the theatre that I work at and I must say, I've have yet to experience a more enjoyable group than those at Moving Forward Reaching Back. Everyone in the group was volunteer and they were so organized and kind and easygoing. I helped run lights/sound/projections for their High School Vocal Elite Competition and it was so awesome to spend an evening listening to such talented youth sing their hearts out. Check out their website HERE!

(Also, they gave me the nickname "Olivia the Great". It's definitely a new one to add to the long list of nicknames I already have, but I'm certainly not complaining.)

Bonus perk: I got to DJ one day! I absolutely love making people move to music.

7. Started rehearsals for A Midsummer Night's Dream! Been going for a month now and we're opening on June 26th. It's free! (So you literally have no excuse to miss it.)

6. My sister Sarita, her friend, my Mom and I went to see The Reduced Shakespeare Company at the new and improved Zeider's American Theatre. They were pretty great, but there was this guy in the front row with the most contagious laugh and every time he laughed, it would set everyone else off laughing. Even the actors had a hard time keeping a straight face and at the end, one of them said, "I want to give this guy front row tickets to every one of our shows." Truly hysterical.

5. For my 24th Birthday this month, my family and one of Sarita's friends did an escape room, fulfilling a goal of mine and making it one of the most memorable Birthdays ever. Also, my sister took me kayaking the next day, so I'm counting that as an extension of my Birthday. I got wet, but it was so much fun.

4. I SAW THE FREAKIN' LION KING at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk! I definitely cried at least four times. There's something absolutely stunning about hearing music from a film played live. Can now check that one off the bucket list!

Lily

3. I watched my little friend Lily understudy the role of Matilda with the Virginia Stage Company at the Wells Theatre. She is an absolute angel and did amazingly well!

2. I successfully uploaded one video each Thursday this month! Links to all of them below!

Also see my blog post about it HERE!

And finally, a goofy little video about how to throw a "cheap" and easy, at-home party.

1. My baby seester graduated from college and will be heading off to grad school in the fall at George Mason University! But not before walking El Camino in Spain; She is going places, literally.
