As always, in no particular order, whether they be quotes, pictures, experiences, ideas, or lessons learned, here are my top most memorable moments of the month!

Moments of the Month

8. I got to hang out with a couple of family friend teens (know each other since we were kids) for the weekend while their parents were out of town! We went to the mall, explored a graveyard, got boba tea and macrons from Lookup Cafe, and watched a lot of movies.

7. My Mom and I went to the English Rose tea house with a group of ladies. That place is so cute! I so enjoyed the experience and if anyone would like to get up a party to go back, I'll go with you!

6. My sister, Sarita, and my Mom and I drove to the Outer Banks to see some old family friends. Catching up with them was crazy because we hadn't seen them in maybe 10 years or so. Really neat reconnecting.

5. My family drove out for a weekend getaway at Cape Charles!

4. I got to cat-sit my friend, Nyoka's kitty, Emcee for two weeks while she was visiting family out of town. I say this as one of my favorite moments because I had her whole apartment to myself.

Honestly, the experience has made me keen on moving out/having my own place. I do have plans for that, but without a doubt, it will take time.

3. I edited together and posted two "behind-the-scenes" videos of Cure Blue, the short film I created with summer camp kids. They took extra BTS footage and passed it all along to me; I literally stayed awake all night to get them done.

2. I got to go bowling and to the beach a couple times with the kids I babysit! Because I'm usually just picking them up from school or summer camp, that was so much fun. Possible bowling challenge video to come soon!

1. I am currently Assistant Stage Managing a show called "The Resting Place" at ODU's The Goode Theatre with a group of talented individuals from around Hampton Roads. The content is serious and not for the sensitive due to the content, strong language, and issues it addresses, but sometimes theatre is the only place to show how things are versus how they seem to be.
