As always, in no particular order, whether they be quotes, pictures, experiences, ideas, or lessons learned, here are my top most memorable moments of the month!

This month I have 4 from September and 4 from October (roughly); Enjoy!

Moments of the Month

8. ASM'd The Resting Place at Old Dominion University; We had a good run and I got to work in a new theater (ODU) and with a budding director.

7. I gave myself a haircut! And yes, I captured the entire thing on camera.

6. Saw Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theatre on Broadway in NYC. Absolutely incredible. ("New York" video)

5. From the end of September into October, I took a solo, 10-day road trip up the East coast, seeing friends and family along the way and exploring places like Carytown, New York City, Boston. Videos of my trip are posted on my YouTube channel HERE! Check them or see some of my favorites below.

Day 3: New York City Day 6: Boston

4. I filled in the role of Assistant Stage Manager then become the official ASM for a new musical called "Grotesquerie Lake" at the Zeider's American Dream Theatre. It was very interesting to see the process of putting a musical on the stage, working out the kinks and making cuts and edits, especially with the playwright sitting in the room during rehearsals. Definitely not finished, but such an 'interesting' show with tunes that will get stuck in your head. They will be doing a staged reading this weekend, Friday through Sunday; See the Zeider's website for more details!

3. During my trip up to Boston, I got to see my family in Pennsylvania. I typically only get to see them once a year at Christmas, so being able to visit in the fall was so special. Also, I discovered my Aunt is not the least bit afraid of all things creepy. Watch me freak out from scary puppets, while she just nonchalantly passes on from one to the next!

2. My friends surprised me when I got home from my trip and they brought cheesecake and pink balloons. It was so sweet. In the video, see me give them their gifts!

(-hint, hint- One of them might eat a scorpion.)

1. I got to meet jazz icon Ellis Marsalis Jr. He performed recently at the Z.

Mr Marsalis, now 86 years old and semi-retired, reunited with drummer Jae Sinnett (pictured, right) for this very special performance. It was very neat.
