Favorites of November '19

As always, in no particular order, whether they be quotes, pictures, experiences, ideas, or lessons learned, here are my top most memorable moments of the month!

8. I ordered and received YouTuber Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star's new makeup! I got both eyeshadow palettes: The Conspiracy palette of 18 shades and the Mini Controversy palette with 9 shades, and then two lip products: the Are You Filming? liquid lip velour and the Shane Glossin' lip gloss, aka The Gloss.

It was really exciting for me to get these because I have been watching Shane's videos since he first started YouTube in 2008 and it's been really awesome to see his content develop and change over the past decade into what it is now. 7. Gloria and I finished our A-Z movies challenge! See the list of movies we watched HERE.

6. My Aunt in Illinois asked me to be my cousin's confirmation sponsor. Guess who will be flying out to Blue Island in March?! A family friend also asked me to be her daughter's confirmation sponsor!

4. I Stage Managed a show called "Basses Are Loaded," a one-act about the members of the Philharmonic bass section. It was quite a good show and I hope it gets developed further and produced again down the road.

3. At long last, I have finished my cape! I finally bought the material on July 29th after a few outings earlier in the month and finished it in the early morning hours of November the 25th, just in time for...

2. A Christmas Carol! I will be running a spotlight for the next month up until the week of Christmas for Virginia Stage Company's annual production of this beloved classic. Click HERE to see the showings!

1. Thanksgiving Day! Apart from getting a headache (I don't eat a lot of sugar, so I blame the pie), the day was a lot of fun! I enjoyed getting to see and hang out with friends and family.
