As always in no particular order,
my 8 favorite moments of the month right here!
8. I stage managed a show this month called Saint Irene's at Zeider's American Dream Theatre! We still have this weekend of shows left (through Feb 2nd), but I have to say, working with a New York based director and a NY actress who is particular to say the least, really helped me grow as a Stage Manager. I love when I feel like I'm learning more and I definitely did with this show.

7. Went to a workshop at the Little Theatre of Norfolk to learn more about theatre stuff (always something to learn!) and later that same day, attended Peter and the Starcatcher; This was one of the first shows in a while I actually enjoyed at LTN, the other two being Arsenic and Old Lace and Lend Me a Tenor.
6. Watched the Godfather series and liked it!
5. I got to spend time with my younger sister, Sarita, early this month. We went to places like Cold Pressed in Towne Center, Sawdust Road (cafe) near Pungo, and Sandbridge beaches to see a sunrise. Admittedly the morning was cloudy and the weather absolutely freezing, but that didn't stop a unique sunrise view.

4. Celebrated Sarita's 23rd Birthday with wine and a really nice board display of cheeses, fruits, veggies, and meats my Mom created. Had a couple of friends over too so that, and a few rounds of Uno Flip, really livened up the atmosphere.
3. Went to my friend Angelica's first baby shower! Her due date is coming up early March; I'm so excited for her!
2. Started posting videos from my adventures in Philly this past December! Featuring my family, we trek all across Philly on foot, seeing as many places as we can in roughly 48 hours. See part 1 below!
1. I am part of a nonprofit called Moving Forward Reaching Back. They create events that focus on building up the community and on January 30th, I finally got to partake in that mission. We put on a show called "Rico's World" for a packed Sandler Center of 1,000+ public school 1st and 2nd grade students! It was all about encouraging each other and oh man...the energy we got from them onstage was just incredible.

I played a character called Coach, whose main struggle was being unable to dance and having no time to learn before the surprise Birthday party for Elroy the Elephant. Let's just say, I surprised everyone by the end, including my cast-mates. The event was not open to the public, but it was amazing fun to perform again and with such an incredible group of people.
