my 8 favorite moments of the month right here!

8. I posted a video of my experience editing for the 48 Hour Film Project Hampton Roads! See some of the process, the awards, and the film itself! (Also, I don't know why the thumbnail made my face look like that, but there you go. Haha!)

5. I finally bought Final Cut Pro X for video editing; Definitely believe this is upping my editing game! See the first video I made with the program HERE!

4. I started working as Assistant Stage Manager on a one-woman show called "This'll Only Take a Second" at Zeider's American Dream Theatre as part of their annual Proteus Festival! They went a bit more of a virtual/film route, but I am SO happy to be doing theatre in a time like this and I am really looking forward to more projects. See the festival calendar HERE!

3. I talked a lot with my friend Matthew Rushin. He is currently wrongfully imprisoned for a car accident and I won't go into all the details here, but if you're a prayerful person, keep him and his Mom in your prayers. She posts and shares tons of info on this Instagram account and you can find all sorts of relevant links to write to the Governor and sign a petition.

1. I recently started a 2-week hair care program and at the end of it was able to submit a review video for a higher chance to win the full 6-week program for free. Aaand, I kind of overachieved a little bit and edited a slightly more entertaining video together than me just talking to the camera for 2 and 1/2 minutes.

I though it was a little cringy after I rewatched it. Haha! But a really neat opportunity came out of it. I was contacted by a member of the student success team who asked me if they could use the video in a promotional video and then a few weeks after that Sarah Tran, the face of the program, emailed me asking if I would be open to exploring fun work opportunities with the Hair Growth Lab team! It was really out of the blue, but so awesome to be offered that, and all from a review video!
