Detoxer (Day 5)

Ahhh, detox. Sometimes I feel I could do with a good detox smoothie at the end of the week. Here goes!

Fresh cucumber from my mom's garden
Fruit!

} 1/3 c. cucumber

} 1/2 c. baby spinach

} 1/4 of a grapefruit

} 3 tbsp avocado

} 1/2 kiwi

} 5 strawberries

} 1/3 banana

} squirt of lemon juice

} squirt of lime juice

} 3/4 tsp ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar)

} sprinkle of ginger

} splash of almond milk

} 1/4 tsp stevia

I added almond milk and stevia at the end because the grapefruit and ACV made the taste a little bitter. Normally I wouldn't, but If you'd like you can leave out the ACV. It is good for your digestive system though.

Also, there's a lot of ingredients. If you'd like to use a few less, feel free. I created these smoothies with the intention of using ingredients that were beneficial to each type of smoothie I was making, so I threw them all in. But you can absolutely mess around with them and make your own combinations.

The taste of this one was interesting to say the least. It didn't taste terrible, but it probably wouldn't be my favorite either. That's just what a detox smoothie should be though, right?
